Day 8!
Rules - That for 8 days you have to post something that made you happy that day. Tag 8 people to do the same!
Day 8 - NEW WHO!!! Watched the Doctor Who Christmas Special and I loved it! It's not, like, brilliant, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. I think I was just thrilled to see 10 again. I'm going to be SO sad when he leaves. Anyways, it was fun, and quirky, and David Morrissey's character quite grew on me. I'm glad he's not the new doctor, but honestly, I'm not emotionally ready for ANYONE to be the new doctor, so it's no fault of his. I'd be glad to see him again, though (heck, even as a companion). So, he was cool, Rosita was cool, the Cybershades were cool. But as always, it was totally Ten that made it for me. There was plenty of giddy, excited, adventerous Doctor, but I loved the subtle, sedate mournfulness you could see at moments (like when he's introduced to Rosita. Thank you, TPTB), and of course that heartbreaking ending. Honestly, I cried, and I really didn't expect to. People seem to have mixed feelings on that, but I LOVE that they put that in there. He DID have his heart broken, and it's only right that they acknowledge that before moving on. I would have been disappointed if they acted as if nothing was wrong. Gah, this show always knows exactly how to tug at my heart strings. Heck, I was watching Father's Day with my mum today and THAT made me tear up.
To sum up: that was awesome and I can't wait who knows how long for the next one.
Oh, also, for some reason people want to see the fuzzy shoes, so pictoral evidence will be posted at some point.
