Yeah, there's a lot of restoration work going on at the houses up in Carbon Canyon (where he lives) from fire damage, so there were a bunch of workers at his house. Saying this makes me feel pretty creepy, but to explain, basically the friend that I was staying with there is a photographer and was doing a project on celebrity homes, so she had one of the stupid maps. Since we were in Malibu anyhow (as I said, I'm in love with it), she asked if I wanted to see DD's house. I didn't really feel any way about it, but I said sure cos I guessed it would be kind of cool to do since I was there and because she seemed pretty excited to show it to me. So yeah, there was that.
And it's definitely a shame everything is expensive, but yknow. Next time you're out, you should go to Duke's on the PCH-- they have a barefoot bar and delicious seafood.
Anyhow, um, yes. Malibu. UGHHHHH take me back! It's like 32 degrees here in NYC right now.
