memento1Well, I am here! The weather was fantastic yesterday so I made the long drive over the mountains. And it was very, very long. But I made it in one piece and I start work tomorrow! I spent today unpacking and securing an internet connection (although my T-Mobile coverage is horrendous - I have to stand by the window to get any coverage at all and even then it cuts in and out. I still have a YEAR on my contract, too). I'm really excited for work, though.
Anyways, enough boring real-life stuff. Back to fandom. I missed House, but Idol was fun. Danny is taking this whole competition, I tell you. I thought his performance was FLAWLESS. Some of the others were quite good as well. But I didn't understand the big deal with Adam, and Megan desperately needs to go home. Well, we'll see in 10 minutes.
This is amusing - my friend's grandma has hip replacement surgery, and her surgeon's name was Doctor Turk. I shit you not. I about died laughing.
