memento1Oh. My. God. That was totally worth the 3 week wait. The...the....HAND thing. And her taking off his tie. AND THE LAST SCENE!!! Oh my lord. Now THAT was the tag I've been waiting for. The flirting, and the FINALLY bringing up the amnesia again, and...just the way they stared at each other. Not him staring at her. BOTH of them, staring at each other. I'm like an addict looking for a hit watching these new episodes, and that was one hell of a hit. ;) I could definitely watch this whole episode a few dozen more times.
As for Angela/Wendell (yay Wendell! I missed you!), I don't know what to think. I love Wendell, and I could actually kinda see them together. But...but...HODGINS. It feels like cheating. I know they broke up. But I don't believe Hodgins doesn't still have feelings for her. So...we'll see what happens there, but I have a bad feeling about this. For now, mind if I squee more about the cute? Because there's so much cute.
Love Booth kicking Sweets under the table (*snork*, his face was priceless) and...and...I'm pretty sure it was Booth grabbing Bones' hand, but it almost looked like it started as them reaching out for a parting contact, and...gah, that just makes my heart squeeze. And then there's the tie scene, and his face as she reaches for his tie, and then how he opens the top button of his shirt (guh), and...near the end she's making some conclusion to Cam, and he kinda leans in to her while turned slightly her way. It's almost..protective, or something, like he's drawn to her. Anyways, the body language is adorable. And then there are no words for the cuteness of that last scene. I'm wondering if she realized the hidden meaning of her words, as it was certainly glaringly obvious from this end. So, um, cute! Yay! Thank you thank you thank you Hart for that wonderful slice of adorableness.
Also, fic rec! Unintended, by GoldenNinde, is a long Booth/Bones fic with an actual plot. Not the best plot ever, but a good try of it, and well worth it for the angst and smut and all around squee-worthiness. I love long fics. I love looking forward to getting home just so I can continue reading. ;)
