It's a beautiful day

Which is of course ruined by the fact that MY COMPUTER'S DEAD!! Just unresponsive. I'm not talking frozen. I mean it's off and won't start up. It's getting power (the little power light is on and responds appropriately when I disconnect it and connect it to another outlet), it's just not starting. Not even humming. Just dead. And IT refuses to help until Monday. And they said they probably wouldn't even be able to help me then. It's something I've got to deal with by myself. Why THANK YOU, IT. Now I know why no one likes you.

So...my single shining ray of hope is that it's still covered by warrenty. Cause I'm probably gonna have to send it in. Or who knows, maybe it'll just start working again. Or maybe it'll be something that needs to be replaced (battery, motherboard, etc). In any case, I'm pissed as h*ll and desperate. I pray the stuff inside is not fried.

So I might be absent for a couple days until I get this worked out. F'ing computer.

Well, I feel stupid.

ummm...my friend fixed it. Hard booted it. Just held down the stupid button for about a minute. I feel stupid.

Stupid stupid stupid.

And relieved. All my files! *kisses files and music and fics and photoshop*

In other news, I feel loved. I got *2* Valentines in my campus mailbox today: one from my good friend Jon (the closest thing I have to a brother) and one from my ex-roommate Julia. Who needs a significant other when you've got friends like this, huh? *warm fuzzies*
