I fought the law and the law won

I was just summoned for Jury Duty. UGGGGGHHHHH!! There's no exemption for being a student. I'm going to ask the staff at the zoo, see if there's anything I can do.

And just 2 days ago I got a ticket. I was waiting to turn right at an intersection. The light turned green, but a bunch of school-children were crosssing with a crossing guard (a guy with a stop sign). They got to the other half of the street (but not all the way across) and there were cars piling up behind me, so I made the turn. And there was a cop right there, waiting for people to do just that. I was so upset. I had a perfectly clean record, and I was hoping to have my insurance rates reduced in a few years, and I couldn't find the car registration and...I started crying. I felt ridiculous, but I just couldn't stop. It absolutely ruined my day.

And then they have the nerve to request jury duty! I'm not very happy with the law right now.
