I need to get a new car. Not a "new" car, probably a used one, but a replacement for this one. The noise my engine was making turned out to be a broken muffler, all rusted apart from too many Minnesota winters. To replace the whole thing would have cost over $400. That plus the $500 I spent yesterday, and I need new CV boots, and I just passed 150,000 miles so you can bet something else will fall apart soon, and I just can't keep paying these repair costs. So I paid $200 for a temporary fix, but that means within the year I'll need a new vehicle. F*&%. I can't do this! I'm going to have to start paying off my student loans soon, I'll be out of a job by October, and now I need a new car. I CAN'T DO THIS!! *sigh*
