How do friggin ICONS break your bandwidth? That's about all I do recently, and I was proud of the fact I had my own site to host them on and everything. [livejournal.com profile] barenakedally has been so very very kind and helpful, raising my bandwidth and everything, but it keeps exceeding, and the most plausible explanation is that someone is hotlinking. And that makes me very, very mad. Now I'll have to forbid hotlinking, which means I'll have to start putting all my icons, buttons, and anything else I myself hotlink on Photobucket. And that just pisses me off. *sigh* And I hate being a burden on Ally, because she's been so very nice to host me even though I've changed fandoms and make almost exclusively icons now.

For those of you who replied to my last tirade about Creative, I thank you. I don't think I'll ever be able to leave *L* But I wasn't really talking about leaving anyway. At most I'd stop modding, which doesn't mean I'd give up Creative entirely, and I was mostly just talking about taking a break for the summer, seeing as how I am seriously running low on hours in the day to fit it in. I overslept this morning from lack of sleep, mostly because I stay up so late finishing Creative. So I am still considering it, though as usual I'm putting that off until I'm absolutely sure.

I got to walk a wolf! Monday we spent all day mowing East Lake, which required moving Deneb to a holding pen as the sound of weedwackers agitates her. We got a break to walk Basil (a fox) with some instructions. Because of what happened with Orca biting Lara, and the recent drama of one of Sigfried and Roy's tigers biting Roy, the UDA decided the general public could no longer meet wolves without a barrier. They're still working on ways to get around this as one of our greatest sources of funding is Sponsers who get to meet their adopted wolves. But for now they just want to prove we, the interns, are trained in animal behavior and can handle these animals. So one-by-one they videotaped us as we took turns getting instructions on walking Basil. After we finished mowing, we took turns walking back Deneb, our oldest wolf. She was entirely focused on not falling over, and she even did a faceplant during my turn (poor girl), but it was so very exciting and I fet privelaged to have that experience.

Today was educational interlude with Pat, and we watched lots and lots of wolf and dog behavior videos. Some of them I was dead bored by (especially when she went in Super-Slo-Mo on the Orca tape), but other parts were really fascinating and gave me some more insights into dog behavior. This is why I LOVE this internship. This is what I want to do.

Went around the park after we closed with the new practicum, Jordi. We both wanted to get some puppy time, but Monty had a puppy photo shoot with some people, so we just watched Erin eat a deer head (skull and all), then Orca being himself, until the puppies got fed and we went in the corridor to watch. I swear they get cuter every day. Finished off by going in with the foxes again (this time with food), and I even got the wolves to howl from there. What a great evening.

Random pointless stuff: watched A Few Good Men with the other interns. Not bad. Twister tomorrow. Oh. And RDA is CUUUUUUTE. Yes. Someone posted a cute Jack icon. And I squeed. Call me fangirl.
