memento1You guessed it, more zoo pictures. Finally we come to my Gobbie girl.
Goblin sends kisses! Hehe. She was actually running her lips along the bars here after eating some crushed ice.
She had the most beautiful eyes.
One of Goblin's favorite things to do was groom. She would groom my arm...
...my hand...
...and even my hair.
I miss her so much.
And for the full experience of being groomed by a baboon, a video.
Those were my most relaxing times. If I was stressed or having a bad day, I would go down and sit by Goblin's enclosure and we would take turns grooming each other. I could almost fall asleep with her grooming me. That's my main memory of her, but there was also her birthday party. I made her a birthday cake out of her normal diet - the cake itself was made from crushed up monkey chow, coated in a "frosting" of mushed up bananas, with carrot sticks like candles sticking out of it. Like hamsters and squirrels, baboons have cheek pouches, and she stuffed so much of that cake in her cheek pouches, she looked hilarious. ;)
