Yeah it is. It much harder for me than collaging. I always start out with the thought 'can I really pull this off?' and I swear ever time I tell myself I'll just keep it simple, but it rarely turns out that way. I tend to get caught up in the smallest of details, but its very cool when you look back on old manips and can't remember if it's a manip or what parts you changed. It makes the fact you worked so hard on those details worth it ;)

Oh, I know exactly what that's like. I always get caught up in the tiniest little details that no one can see. *L* Lately I'm all about challenging myself to things that require a little more time and skill, which is why manips are appealing ;)

The funny thing about getting me caught up in every little detail is I'm about the least detail oriented person you could every meet in every area except art... OK well sometimes in art as well ;)

My thing lately is I keep finding caps I love and have used a million times, but they only show so much, so I keep feeling the need to add on to them. Like as much as I love that hug from heroes I really wanted to see more of it. Then I proceeded to drive myself crazy making it.

*LOL* That's pretty funny. Because I'm not a terribly detailed personal but I do get rather picky on certain things.

And you know, I admire your work so much more when I see what you made it out of. I can't believe the detail that went into transforming that pic and adding on so much! I'd love to do a collaboration with you to see how much we could keep adding on. *L* Of course, I say that to everyone.
