I got the job!

Za-wha????
I just got a call...from Doggy Business, the place I DIDN'T get the job from. Aaaaand...apparently their first choice took another job the next day, so they're offering it to me. Yaaaaaaaaaaay! When does that happen? So now I can actually buy Christmas presents, and not have to worry all Christmas season about paying the bills. Whew! I am so relieved. I hate, hate, HATE the job search and its soul-sucking emptiness.
So now CHRISTMAS is on, and I'm helping a friend go tree-hunting today, yaaaaaay! Also also, the 2009 X-Files Advent Calendar is up and tomorrow's my day! I had no inspiration, so I just threw together a small something, but I'm so glad to be involved again. It's not Christmas without it.
And there was BONES last night! The Gamer in the Grease was...kinda boring. *L* The Avatar storyline was weak and pandering (the fact that the intern-of-the-week is IN the movie just adds that extra level of pandering) and I saw that the autistic boy was a major player by his first scene, so I was mainly hoping for some cuteness. The end was rather cute, but we've gotten SO MUCH MORE lately. And there was that strange single scene in the middle of the ads with Angela and Bren. It was cute. But strange...is that gonna be their new thing now? Throw in random scenes in the middle of ads to make us watch them? Aaaanyways, the best part of this episode was the preview for next week. I was already looking forward to the Christmas episode, but that was really cute. The look on Cam's face...hahahaha! Perfect comedic timing. And...WHEW, David's hot. All those muscles, and that little line where his hip meets his waist! Guh. And of course Zooey Deschanel is gonna be awesome. The sisters line was a little too much for my taste, but Zooey is the awesome and it will be so interesting to watch them interact (the spoiler clips were an interesting taste of their dynamic in the episode). So, uh, yes. Christmas!
And because I am very happy right now, how about some Christmas goodness? I love my stupid warm silly show.

Date: 2009-12-07 04:52 pm (UTC)I was just about to attempt posting something cheery and encouraging on your last LJ entry, but now I'm glad I don't have to. YAY YOU!! I had a feeling things would work out. :D
Looooooove and miss you!
Also your advent calendar collage is fucking sweet. WIN! :D

Date: 2009-12-17 01:57 am (UTC)Anyways, I loved hearing from you so much, and I'll try to get better about keeping in touch (and maybe someday that will actually happen, *L*), and thank you for the comment on the collage. I basically just keep doing the calendar because it forces me to create something at least once a year! Hehe.
Much LOVE!!! *snuggles and doesn't let go*
