Virtual tour

All right, I'm taking up
krisnreine's challenge to give a virtual tour of my room. I live in a dorm room, with a roommate, so there's not much to show. But someone might find it interesting.
Here's my bed, wall, and shelves. There's a desk right behind the bed, below the shelves. That's where my laptop is. A pic of that later. Lesse...the stuffed animal on the bed is Big George, a Ty gorilla *L*. He's better known as The Sexually Frustrated Monkey around here. All the books on top of the shelves are textbooks I need to sell back. But you all must be wondering about the wall. I found a book in the clearance aisle of Barnes and Noble: Celebrities and Their Pets for $7. I bought it and cut out all my favorite pictures, then collaged them onto my wall. There's some wonderful pictures in there. It always puts a smile on my face. It's even titled, from a line one of the celebrities used to exemplify his dog: Big Sweet Dumb Brilliant Love.

Here's facing the other way. You can vaguely see my entertainment center there in the background. That's next. The main thing here is the bed. I couldn't back up enough to really show the height of the bed, but it's flipped for height and then placed on cinderblocks: the top of the bed is about 3' 5" off the ground.

The entertainment center! You can see my stereo system (with 5 disk CD changer) sitting on my drawer. On top of that is my brand spanking new DVD/VCR and on top of THAT is a Nintendo 64 with James Bond Goldeneye that I have on a long-term loan from a friend (*EG*). Then there's the 24" TV (the biggest TV in the dorm!). You can also see all my DVDs, including 2 Stargate seasons and 1 XF.

Here we are! Shelves and desk. On the shelves you can see my video cassettes and (on the top left) my Photoshop Elements! There's my dinky little laptop, which I alternately love and hate depending on whether it crashes or not. Taped on the wall on the right are the postcards I received from
gyulya and
ranee42.

Finally, simply the view from my window. I'm on the third floor, and from here you can watch people walk across the bridge to campus.

Well! Hopefully that wasn't too boring, and maybe even a little entertaining. Who's next?
