Eeeeeheeehee yay!!!!! I called home to wish happy birthday to my sister (18! How?!? That's just scary, y'all), and my mom kinda let me know I needed to organize for that Stargate convention in Chicago because that's my birthday present.
SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!!! So I'll stay an extra week here at the park (very good), then meet my mom in Chicago for the convention. Eeeeeheee! This so totally makes my week, day, month.
SO so excited.

SQUEE!!! hehehehe
I can't believe I'm tacking this on after THAT, but, we got to go in with Deneb for a while today, followed by a little visit with the puppies. Didn't get to pet Nebbers, but was glad to just sit by her. But a puppy came up and licked my entire face off, so I was quite happy ;)
And on Saturday, I brought my camera to clean-up and my roommate Christen offered to take pictures of me with puppies and meeting Marion, and ska-wee! Marion was up on the bleachers and came up and Christen got a pic of her licking my face (the wolf, not Christen ;) ). So I got a pic of me with a wolf, and got an actual face-to-face greeting with a wolf, so I am HAPPY! That's all I really wanted, so now I can leave happy ;) Though I'm still happy and excited to stay another month.
Went with the rest of the interns and some of the staff (John, Dana, and Gale) to see The Village. It was interesting. Pretty much what I expected outta M. Night Shyamalan. It was good, and entertaining, with that classic Shyamalan twist that I did not see coming, but I didn't find it particularly memorable or anything. But then again, I've been remarkably cynical about movies lately.

Date: 2004-08-04 12:08 pm (UTC)so, I am trying to avoid reading the part about The Village but is it worth seeing? I love scary movies but tend to get scared WAY too easily.
