Have done some friends list pruning. If I defriended you, please don't take it personally. I still like you as people and friends, I'm just trying to streamline my reading.

In a totally unrelated topic, squee! That exotic animal training program I wanted so deperately to get into but couldn't because I won't have the requirements until I graduate? I was e-mailing a guy there asking about the requirements anyway, and long story short, he's allowed me to apply this year! I may get to go there this fall! Eeee! Of course, that brings up a whole other slew of problems, namely money, so must talk to mom, but SQUEE!!

Exotic animal training? that sounds so cool. At the moment i'm looking into what i'm going to do next year, I really want to do this program with lions. Its in Zimbabwae and they're breeding lions to be released into the wild, they need people to walk the lions, play with the cubs, feed them, give them medication, take notes on behaviour pattern etc.

Working with lions? Way cool! Sounds like some really fun jobs, too. Though keep in mind feeding large carnivores usually involves large quantities of raw meat ;) I speak from experience. But working with the wolves was the best experience of my life, so yeah, if you're up for it, that would be really really awesome!

Yeh it's something I've always wanted to do. I don't really mind about the meat so should be ok, most of it is working with the cubs which get fed special formula, thought they do have some fully grown lions *is scared*
